雅思词汇如何分类
“ 雅思词汇”
这类词汇手册在考生当中流传最广,因为它满足了考生们“一步到位”的需求。它的特点就是雅思词汇量庞大,一般在8000左右,都是按照字母顺序排列的。有些单词号称是按照“词根词缀”进行“巧记”,来引起考生的兴趣。但是这类词汇的编写方法就是将剑桥雅思真题系列听力和阅读里出现的生词进行整理归纳,然后再按顺序排列一下。
熟悉雅思的同学都知道,并不是每个出现在试卷里的单词都需要考生全面理解。尤其是雅思阅读部分,只有题目和原文出现同义转换的单词才是考官考查的重点。
另外,随着雅思低龄化现象的愈演愈烈,越来越多的基础较弱的考生参加雅思考试,而他们的词汇量往往在2000左右,而所谓的“词根词缀记忆法”不仅不能帮助他们记单词,反而更加加重了他们的记忆负担,使背单词的工作变得更加复杂。
对于词汇量较大(如通过大学六级考试的考生)来说,这类词汇手册能帮他们起到查漏补缺的作用,但是对于其它绝大多数考生来说,这类词汇背诵起来费时、费力,而结果却往往事倍功半。
